The ISOM software for single site may be run in a Windows based ruggedized industrial Internet of Things (IOT) computer, such as in a WIPtracker configuration.
This may be supplemented by other IOT computers for RFID data collection, barcode label printing, and interfaces to process control equipment such as weighing scales.
The data from multiple, geographically dispersed WIPtracker ISOM computer systems at each site can then be automatically integrated into a Cloud based server system and database, which itself runs its own set of intelligent agents, such as is available with the SmartOps24x7 software suite.
This centralized ISOM server can then exchange data with a centralized ERP system, as well as with supplier and customer supply chain systems rather that having each WIPtracker computer individually exchange data with these systems.
The centralized ISOM database can also be used as a source of business intelligence, typically for senior management, as well as providing real-time data for generative AI systems acting in an advisory chat-bot decision-support role.
